Olea Erus /Princeps-Early Harvest
Princeps is an early harvest, robust, intense, unfiltered, high Bioactive Biophenol EVOO with strong, fresh wild herbs taste and bright light-green color that reminds us of the rich local biodiversity. It comes from wild olive trees which were grafted with the Amfissis olive tree variety around the year 1700 and over the centuries has evolved into the local Pteleos Olea.
Nature-friendly cultivation practices, the local micro-climate of a semi-mountainous seaside land, the high biodiversity of the area and scientific applications are the basis for this excellent quality EVOO with globally unique characteristics.
Princeps -Early Harvest EVOO Is Sold Out – For the Harvest Period 2018 the produced quantity was only 600 liters and was available in 500 ml bottles. It will be available again after the next harvest period in October 2019.
This extra virgin olive oil is produced entirely from 100% green olives we harvest from our orchards between the 1st and 5th of October in Pteleos, Magnesia .

Cold Press Extraction
Is Cold Press extracted in the Voliotis family olive mill at 220 C. The olive mill is ISO 9001(HACCP) and EΛΟΤ EN ISO 22000/2005 certified.Two-phase centrifugal , Pieralisi-Leopard 8(DMF)
Hand Picked Green Selective Olive Fruit
The olive fruit is collected strictly by hands, placed in certified food boxes and transferred for pressing at the olive mill on the same day.
Packaging: EVOO Protection With Biophotonic Bottles
After pressing, the fresh EVOO is placed directly into INOX tanks and is bottled in MIRON non-refillable Biophotonic Violet bottles. MIRON bottles protect the product from sunlight’s negative effects on EVOO, protecting important ingredients, naturalness, potency, taste, storage life and other important parameters that achieve compliance with the highest quality criteria.
Standardization & Bottling
The Standardization and Bottling process takes place in the Voliotis Family certified Mill in Anno Lechonia – Magnesia prefecture according to international standards. The mill’s Standardization & Bottling Code is EL 40 462.

Picking & Extraction Date
The daily quantity of olive fruit picked is transferred after mid-day in boxes to the olive mill and pressed on the same day to give the highest quality in terms of flavor, nutritional ingredients, aroma and health protective properties.
